Ferry: Piraeus Aegina

Several companies serve the Saronic Gulf between Piraeus and Aegina. Conventional passenger/car ferries (Saronic Ferries, Aegina Ferries) take vehicles; high-speed Hellenic Seaways craft on the Saronic (Flying Dolphin / Aero Highspeed) are typically aimed at foot passengers — confirm vehicle rules on the operator page when you book.

Who sails it

Practical points (Saronic Ferries FAQ)

  • Be at the port 45 minutes before departure (operator advice).
  • Pets: outer decks or kennels; pets are not allowed in enclosed passenger spaces by law.
  • Alternative-fuel vehicles: electric / plug-in hybrid battery charge no higher than 40% at boarding; LPG / natural-gas tanks no more than 50% full.
  • Weather or strikes: the operator describes full refund or change options via the issuing agency — read the FAQ for the current wording.

Times and fares: see the operator's own timetable and fares pages. We deliberately do not copy euro amounts or sailing clocks onto this site.
